How should a Woman Prepare For Pregnancy?

1. Make an ovulation cycle table

Ovulation test strip and thermometer can help you know your ovulation time, and whether you get the irregular ovulation problem. 


2. Have a healthy diet

Choose fresh fruits and vegetables. Stay away from junk food, tobacco and alcohol, as these may lead to eggs and sperms abnormalities. Vitamins and folic acid intake are also important before pregnancy. In terms of fish intake, you should choose with care, some fish such as tuna, shark and trout may contain a lot of mercury.


3. Control weight and blood pressure

Many women after the age of 35 will begin to gain weight. Obesity will reduce women’s fertility rate and it is also one of the major factors for them to get diabetes during pregnancy. Women who have Diabetes may cause fetus to grow very large and the chance of having breathing problems of newborns. Likewise, women who have hypertension can cause fetus to grow too slow as well as bring danger to themselves, so you should monitor blood pressure before and during pregnancy.


4. Adequate rest and sleep

Please ensure adequate sleep every day.  Otherwise, your immune system will be affected, and hormone secretion will be disrupted too. These are not good for your pregnancy.


5. Relieve Stress

Reduce your working hours, and don't give yourself too much pressure because you can't adjust your body and get pregnant immediately in one day. Try to do yoga, it's a great way to relax.


6. Away from electronic product radiation

You and your husband should keep away from laptops and cell phones, because the radiation they emit may reduce the quality of egg and sperm. If the radiation in your work environment is serious, you should consider wearing radiation suits as soon as possible or change the work environment.
